A bottom-up approach to marketing.

Virginia Women’s Center had a hard time separating itself from a similarly named competitor, so the central Virginia OB/Gyn practice hired Madison+Main in 2010. Following updates to their brand, we produced a variety of traditional and non-traditional marketing campaigns designed to position them as skilled, caring physicians that provided “care that revolves around you.”

Through the years,Virginia Women’s Center has expanded into the digital space and has garnered more than 14,000 Facebook followers, and thousands more on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. We built them a top-notch website where patients could schedule their own appointments and access their medical records in a few clicks, and we did this years before their competitors.

Prior to expanding their operations and opening their Midlothian, Virginia location, Madison+Main created a unique summer-long integrated campaign that created awareness and engagement, and helped them fill their appointment calendars six weeks after opening. To start, we created storybooks that we distributed to local media along with a press release announcing the new location. We created a dense online paid social media push within a seven-mile radius of the proposed location, and then planned a complete takeover of the nearby mall. We blanketed the mall in baby blue brand signs, and created an interactive, healthy lifestyle focus that enlightened and engaged shoppers.
