Wrapping Up the Year: 2025 at Madison+Main

As the year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what an extraordinary 2025 it has been here at Madison+Main. From powerful public advocacy campaigns to beloved long-term partnerships and exciting new clients, this year has truly shown us the magic that can happen when mission-driven work meets creative strategy.
Purpose-Driven Work that Makes an Impact
This year, we were proud to expand our work in public advocacy by partnering with organizations and agencies that trust us to communicate clearly, responsibly, and creatively on issues that matter.
We’ve had the privilege of supporting Virginia Energy Sense, a partnership that now spans over a decade, helping educate Virginians on how to reduce energy use and save money. It’s long-term work rooted in trust, consistency, and smart storytelling, the kind of partnership we value most.
We also supported the Virginia Office of the Attorney General on multiple public safety initiatives, including Operation Ceasefire and One Pill Can Kill, helping bring awareness to issues like gun and gang violence, and the epidemic in Virginia of fentanyl overdoses. These campaigns needed thoughtful strategy, clear messaging, and a through-line that marketing can and should serve the greater good. We understand the responsibility we take on to help expand public knowledge and keep our fellow Virginians safe.
Our work with WRAP (the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over folks) continued through the “What’s the Damage?” campaign, helping reinforce the very real consequences of drunk and distracted driving. And alongside HCB2 (Hitting Cancer Below the Belt), we helped raise awareness and keep “buns on the run” for colorectal cancer prevention. A good team like ours, affectionately called the Madison+Main-iacs, can approach even difficult topics in our work by communicating with humor and heart.
Across all of this work, the goal was the same: cut through the noise, meet people where they are, and make the message stick.
Brands with Personality (and Staying Power)
Of course, 2025 wasn’t just about serious messages — it was also about building brands people love.
We continued our work with long-term partners like Holiday Barn, keeping tails wagging and brand loyalty strong, and Carroll Plumbing & Heating, where strategic messaging met moments of fun — including memorable signage spotted at the Richmond Marathon. Because yes, even porta-potties deserve good branding. Versatile local event venue Atlas 42 rejoined our client roster, continuing to offer events as unique as the people who book them, paired with a brand new campaign showing off their personality.
These are the kind of relationships that define us: brands that trust us to evolve their voice and keep their marketing fresh, without losing who they are.
Big Ideas, on Big Screens
This year also brought exciting opportunities to tell stories through broadcast and video. From television spots for Realo Drugs and Carolina Home Medical to public-facing campaigns for Virginia Energy Sense and statewide safety initiatives, our team helped bring brands to life on screen — blending strategy, creativity, and production to make every second count.
Welcoming the New, Valuing the Tenured
We loved welcoming new clients like Zorch Pizza, brands with personality, ambition, and a hunger for creative collaboration. At the same time, we remain deeply grateful for long-term partnerships with clients like CowanGates, whose continued trust shows consistency and results matter just as much as fresh ideas.
