This spring has been a very exciting time, as we launched a new interactive, large-scale campaign for our client Virginia Women’s Center. This campaign actually began last year, when we began sharing tips on how to live healthy and improve your life. We designed interactive social media graphics and infographics that used bright and fun illustrations.
The popularity of these online pieces encouraged us to launch the campaign on a larger scale, and last week we launched our “mall takeover” of Chesterfield Towne Center. What exactly is a “mall takeover” you may ask? Well, there are banners, door clings, wall signage, floor graphics and fun interactive hopscotch andexercise stations all over! As you can imagine, it’s a graphic designer’s dream. Watching this project develop from concept through to production is a great feeling. Especially when installing the final pieces I was finally able to play hopscotch on the board that I’d been tweaking on my computer screen for the last two months.
This campaign was designed to promote Virginia Women’s Center’s new Midlothian location that opens in July. I think it’s a cool and different way to engage with the Chesterfield area before their new location opens. Needless to say, this has been a great project to be a part of and I am thrilled to see it be enjoyed at Chesterfield Towne Center. Next time you’re over in Midlothian, check it out!
