By Account Executive Casey Severinghaus
Making the decision to transition from working at home to working in an office wasn’t an easy choice for me. Leaving my company after 11 years to explore something totally new and exciting? Definitely scary! But, I knew I wanted to take a leap and not let fear get in the way, so that being said: I’m a new Account Executive at Madison+Main!
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach and attended Mary Baldwin College, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and Management. After college, I moved to Norfolk and took a job as an Account Manager at a printing company, where I managed numerous accounts, maintained relationships with business owners, directors, office managers, buyers and CEOs. I also helped create projects, proposals, quotes and fulfilled orders.
In 2011, I came to Richmond and transitioned to a work-from-home Account Manager at the same company, so I could stay home and care for my two children: Molly and Sam. Since moving here, I have really enjoyed exploring the city, whether with the family or with friends. Outdoor activities, restaurants, bar and music scenes are all things I like to check out on the weekends. An ideal Saturday for me is to walk around Belle Isle with the family and enjoy lunch at Legend Brewery.
Coming to Madison+Main is very exciting for me! I get to continue using the experience I’ve gained with client relationships while also getting the chance to spark my creative side. I look forward to learning from and working with the talented M+M team!
